Mrs. Candida Lynn “Candy” King age 38 of Sand Rock passed away Tuesday October 14th at her residence.
Funeral services will be 3 PM Friday October 17th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Chad Smith and Leroy McKissick Sr. officiating, burial will follow in Mt. Vernon Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 PM Thursday.
Pallbearers include Tony King, Daniel King, Jake King, Kevin Fowler, Jimbo McGatha, Chad Langley & Rickey King.
Survivors include husband, Jimmy King of Sand Rock: sons, Cody King and Tyler King both of Sand Rock: daughter, Haley King of Sand Rock: parents, Carolyn (Leroy) McKissick of Sand Rock and Randall (Sherry) Barnett of Collinsville: brothers, Shane Barnett of Sand Rock, Kyle McKissick of Sand Rock and Brandon Barnett of Wyoming: grandfather, J.L. Barnett of Collinsville: step grandparents, Leroy (Ann) McKissick of Gaylesville: several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. King was preceded in death by her grandparents Walter and Maxine McGatha.
Mrs. King was a native of Cherokee County.
