Mrs. Blanche Bevis Campbell, 90, of Florence, departed this earth for her heavenly home today. A devoted follower of Christ, she was a member of Wood Avenue Church of Christ. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother with a sweet spirit and a servant’s heart.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Hattie Bevis, husband, Harold Jackson, infant son, Charles Wayne Jackson, grandson, Blair Faulkner, and six siblings.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 61 years and faithful caregiver, Raymond R. Campbell; daughters, Judy Faulkner and husband, David, and Donna Romine and husband, Thomas; grandchildren, Paige Herold, Brent Romine, and Russ Romine and wife, Laura; great-grandchildren, Drew and Haley Herold, Kalli Romine, and Davis and Campbell Faulkner; brothers, Joe Bevis and wife, Billie, and A. C. Bevis and wife, Betty; sister-in-law, Margaret Babcooke and husband, Mel; and 19 nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on, Oct. 14, from noon to 1 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The service, officiated by Kenneth Davis, will follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel. Interment will be in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Grandsons, nephews, and sons-in-law will serve as pallbearers.
