THE SHOALS-Shoals Solid Waste Authority presents the 3rd annual The Start Something “Reel” Bass Tournament to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Shoals, Inc. (BBBS), November 1, 2014. This tournament was started in 2012. It is usually held the first Saturday in November. This is a small tournament for weekend fishermen or anyone else who would like to get out on the beautiful Tennessee River and fishWilson and Pickwick lakes. We launch from Sheffield Riverfront Park. Entry fee is $100. Our first prize is $1000, second prize $500 and 3rd prize $250. All proceeds benefit the Big Brothers Big Sisters program serving Colbert, Franklin and Lauderdale counties in Alabama. BBBS serves children who are in need of an additional adult role model relationship by matching them with an adult or school based mentor.
