Bessie Louise Stephenson, 88, Russellville, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at her residence. She was born on Saturday, March 20, 1926 to Albert H. & Willie Mae Smith in Franklin County.
Louise retired from Walmart after several years as a sales associate. She was a former member of Twin Pines Country Club where she loved to play golf with her husband and son.
The visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday, September 26, 2014 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Spry Memorial Chapel. Officiating will be Bro. Thomas Loyd. Burial will be at Franklin Memory Gardens.
She is survived by her sons, Donald Stephenson, Roger Stephenson (wife, Peggy), all of Russellville, grandchildren, Jody Stephenson, Chrissy Vanhousen, Shane Stephenson, Joey Stephenson; great-grandchildren, Lauren Saint, Sara Saint, Madison Vanhousen, Sophia Vanhousen; sisters, Velma Payne, Evelyn Smith, Wilkilene Smith; and several nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eudon Stephenson; grandson, Roger Stephenson, Jr.; parents, Albert Harris & Willie Mae Smith; brother, E.O. Smith.
