Mary Katherine Bowen, 80, Russellville, passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at Mitchell Hollingsworth.
Mary Katherine loved to sing and play the piano. Even when unable to speak, she was able to sing and enjoyed singing with the staff at Mitchell Hollingsworth. She was always a friend to everyone and will be missed by all who knew her.
There will not be a public visitation. The funeral service will be at 4:00 p.m. Friday, September 26, 2014 at Spry Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Franklin Memory Gardens.
She is survived by her daughters, Pam Hoggle (husband, Tommy), Katherine Neal (husband, Ralph); grandchildren, Chadrick Franks (wife, Jessica), Shaye Fisher (husband, Jim), Shannon Willis (husband, Donovan), Shane Neal; great-grandchildren, Alex Franks, Jacob Franks, Katelyn Willis, Colton Willis; host of sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, on both the Cochran and Bowen sides of the family; several cousins, and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Jack Bowen; parents, Hallman & Velvie Ivinee Cochran; and her brothers & sisters.
