Elnor C. Mitchell, 78, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Wednesday, September 17, 2014, at the Baldwyn Nursing Facility. She was a member of Iuka Baptist Church, and was a Sunday School teacher for many years. She enjoyed her yard work in her spare time. She was a loving mother, and devoted wife. Visitation is scheduled for 5 until 9 PM on Saturday, September 20 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 PM on Sunday, September 21, 2014, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka. Interment will follow in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Hubert Mitchell of Iuka; 3 sons – Tommy Mitchell (Sherry) of Chesterton, IN; David Mitchell of Valpo, IN; and Timothy Mitchell (Kathleen) of Dalonga, GA; 2 daughters – Sharon Bell (Tony) of Southaven, IN; and Regina Arnold (Stanley) of Booneville, MS; 1 sister – Ruby Bullock of Columbia, MS; 16 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Grace Cook; her daughter, Laura Mitchell; and five brothers and sisters.
