Graveside service for Joe Doyle Anders , 72, will be Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Herring Cemetery with Josh Sparkman officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Saturday, September 20, 2014 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Anders died on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born November 8, 1941, in Morgan County to Joseph and Thelma Lee Anders. Mr. Anders was in the US Army. He was also a jeweler, and a policeman for the city of Decatur for 10 years. He was preceded in death by his parents.
