Jim Dalton Foster, 81 of Ardmore, Tennessee died on Monday, September 15, 2014, at his home.
Born Thursday, May 25, 1933 in Dellrose, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Frank Foster and the late Myrtle Hogan Foster. He was a lifelong resident of this area and loved fishing and his grandkids.He was a Veteran of the US Army, serving from 1953 until 1955. He was preceded in death by his wife: Mary Ophelia Bryant Foster.
Surviving are sons, Bobby Foster of Ardmore, TN, Billy Foster of Ardmore, TN and Barry (Amanda) Foster of Ardmore, TN, daughter, Becky Brown (Dave Revere) of Ardmore, TN, sister, Mary Toole of Alexander City, AL, three grandchildren: Michelle Cunningham, Jennifer Foster, and Justin Foster, and four great-grandchildren: Mackenzie, Hunter, Austin, and Bryli.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 17, 2014, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with Bro. Derrick Moose officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, September 16, 2014, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
