Mr. Keener was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from the Lawrence County Highway Department, and of the Church of Christ faith. The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 5, 2014 at Loretto Memorial Chapel with Van Henry Vansandt officiating. Burial to follow in Union Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at Loretto Memorial Chapel. Survivors include: Wife- Kathryn Keener of Iron City, TN; 1 Son- Larry Eugene Keener Jr. & wife Kim of Iron City, TN; 1 Daughter- Carla Rena Burden & husband Tim of Loretto, TN; 4 Grandchildren- Austin & Justin Keener; Rachel & Brady Burden; Special Uncle & Aunt- Charlie & Peggy Keener; Several Nieces & Nephews; Preceded in death by: Parents- Irvine & Nora Lee Keener; 1 Son- Stacey Keener
