FLORENCE-Enjoy a fantastic, free, family-friendly day hosted by the Bluewater Creek Polo Club (located on Highway 72 in Rogersville) on Saturday, September 13 from 10am-2pm. “Hoedown for the Horses” is a benefit for the Singing River Equine Rescue, Inc.; it includes horse racing, polo, hayrides, a Silent Auction, bake sale and chicken stew! For the kids and young-at-heart, come and enjoy face painting, croquet and horse shoes. Sounds like fun, doesn’t it? Add the live music of 220 Slim and The Cactus Cowboys featuring John Stokes with Special Guest, Americana singing sensation Tosha Hill, and you’ll have one heck of a good time!
All proceeds benefit the Singing River Equine Rescue, a nonprofit organization that provides shelter, rehabilitation and adoption services for horses seized by law enforcement and animal control officials in cruelty cases. Donations are appreciated.
Sponsored by TNT Fireworks, Estate of Doodle Tate, Center for Skincare & Wellness and Evie & Fennel Mauldlin.
Bring your family together for a day of fun and you’ll be helping an organization that helps animals in need!
