Funeral service for Lindsey Rose Edney, age 31, of Decatur, will be Thursday, September 4, 2014, 1:00 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Blake Kersey officiating. The family will receive friends for two hours prior to service. Interment will be in Burningtree Memorial Gardens.
Miss Edney, who died Monday, September 1, 2014, in Decatur, was born December 24, 1982, in Decatur, to Leslie Edney and Angela Morgan Edney. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, James L. Morgan and Ralph Edney.
She is survived by her parents, Leslie and Angela Edney of Decatur; one sister, Andrea Edney Grigg of Decatur; grandparents, Leonard and Dorothy Sellers, and Dorothy L. Morgan, all of Decatur; one nephew, Riley Grigg of Decatur; one niece, Anniston Grigg of Decatur; and her fiance, Mark Mullican.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Edney, Ryan Edney, Doug Edney, Jeff Edney, Willie Brown, and Mark Blaxton.
