Dorothy Ezell Kay, age 87, of Hazel Green, died on Saturday August 16, 2014.
Mrs. Kay is preceded in death by her husband, James Melvin Kay; her parents Clifford Ezell and Sarah Waller Payne; her sisters, Pearl Gustin and Alma Wolaver; her brothers, Rayford and Clifford E. Payne, Jr.; and her grandchild, Julie Ann Young.
Mrs. Kay is suvived by her daughter, Sherry Ann Payne and husband Ellis; her son, James M. Kay, Jr. and wife Kathryn; her sisters, Hazel Hill and Oleen Askins; her brother Bill Payne; her grandchildren, Sarah Beth Vines and husband Brian, and Nathan Davis; her great grandchildren, J. T., Daniel, Samuel, and Sarah Helen Vines; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be on Monday August 18, 2014 at 1pm in the chapel of Spry Funeral Home with Ron Little officiating. Burial will follow in Huntsville Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday August 17th from 5pm until 8pm at the funeral home.
