Mr. Caperton worked as a supervisor in cooking at CCA in Clifton, Tennessee for 13 years and was Minister of Russell’s Chapel Church in Savannah, Tennessee. He was an Ordained Minister in the Southern Baptist Association. Mr. Caperton enjoyed yard selling and reading.

He departed this life on August 15, 2014 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 59 years, 11 months and 30 days.

Mr. Caperton is survived by his children, Robert Caperton and his wife Mary of San Diego, California, Holly Smith of Savannah, Tennessee and Shawn Caperton and his wife Jamie of Collinwood, Tennessee

5 grandchildren, Jessie Caperton, Emma Caperton, Blake Dodd, Sophia Caperton and Layla Caperton

2 sisters, Becky Matlock and her husband Danny and Lesia Caperton, all of Savannah, Tennessee

his mother, Josephine Morgan Caperton of Savannah, Tennessee

his fiancee, Linda Childers of Tupelo, Mississippi

Mr. Caperton is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews
