Richard Lee Morrison, 89, of Huntsville passed away, Friday, August 15, 2014 at Huntsville Hospital. Mr. Morrison was a World War II veteran and served in the U.S. Navy. He is survived by his wife, Anne Morrison; children, Susan Zirra, David Morrison, Dee Elling, Donna Thompson, Richard Elling and Lisa Gibbs; siblings John Morrison, Dorothy Norton and Mildred Clay and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday, August 19, 2014 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Berryhill Funeral Home. Graveside service will be Wednesday at 10:00am at Maple Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to be made to: The Salvation Army Friends; In memory of Richard L. Morrison; P.O. Box 3799; Huntsville, AL 35810.
