Joanne R. Hollman, 70, of Huntsville passed away Friday. Joanne was a retired ESL instructor and an accomplished Toastmaster, who competed and won numerous multi-area speech contests during her active years. She had a passion for singing and was a member of the Crestwood Senior Circle Sunshine Singers and a long-time member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her two sons, David and Mark Hollman.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Henry Carl Hollman; daughters, Marcia Hollman of Senatobia, Mississippi and Sandra Farmer and husband, Tim, of Gurley; daughter-in-law, Sherry Wilson and husband, Billy, of Meridianville and grandchildren, Jennifer Hollman, Christopher Farmer, Julianne Farmer and Molly Hollman.
Visitation will be from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Joe Lubrano officiating. A private burial will follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
