J.A. “Buddy” Todd Jr., age 86, of Rogersville, passed away Thursday, Aug. 7, 2014, at his residence. Mr. Todd was born April 10, 1928, in Madison County to Jacob Addric Todd Sr. and Mildred Cotten Todd.
Services will be Sunday, Aug. 10, 2014, 2 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday from noon until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Todd Cemetery.
Mr. Todd was principal at Elgin Elementary School for 14 years and owned the Tiger Hut in Rogersville until 2010.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Enola Todd, and parents, Jacob and Mildred Todd.
Survivors include one son, Barry Todd and wife, Pam; two daughters, Pam Whitehead and Susan Paparella and husband, Tony; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, J.W. “Bill” Todd; two sisters, Marianne Todd Porter and Norma Todd Ingalls; numerous nieces and nephews; and other family and friends.
