Leasie Mildred Fuller Hudson, 87, Russellville, passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at her residence.
Mrs. Hudson worked hard all of her life. She loved being around her friends and family.
The visitation will be 1:30 – 3:00 p.m. Saturday, July 19, 2014 at Spry Memorial Chapel, with the funeral following at 3:00 p.m. Officiating will be Bro. Eddie Wix. Burial will be at Ramsey King Cemetery, Russellville.
She is survived by her children, Johnnie Bates, Jr. (wife, Mary) Hartland, MI, Fredia LaPorte, Russellvile; 8 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Delmar Fuller, Russellville; and host of nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Hudson; infant daughter, June Bates, eldest son, Charles Bates; parents, Spurgeon & Maudie Fuller; 5 brothers; and 6 sisters.
The pallbearers will be Johnnie Bates III, Michael Franklin, Dakota Taylor, Jeremie James, Jim Martin, Doug Osborn, Chris Harrison, and Mark Longthorne.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Hospice of Tennessee Valley and Gentiva Home Health for the love and care of our family.
