FLORENCE-A Florence man has been charged in the death of a 13 month old girl from August of 2013. Here is how the Florence Police describe the events leading uto the arrest of Justin Mathew Green, 25 of Florence:
” Florence Police have arrested Justin Mathew Green, 25, of Florence and charged him with Criminally Negligent Homicide as a result the death of a 13 month old child in August of 2013. An autopsy was preformed and found ligature marks around the child’s neck. Investigators believe that a cord was wrapped around the girl’s neck leading to her death. Green is currently being held in the LCDC on a $10,000 bond.”
