Mr. Alton Paul Brown Sr. age 66 passed away Friday July 4th at his residence.
A memorial service for Mr. Brown will be held at a later date.
Mr. Brown is survived by his Son Paul (Kathy Lehman) Brown Jr. of Atlanta, GA, Brian A. Brown of Virginia Beach, VA, Step-Son; Shawn Martin of Dayton, TN, Daughters; Katherine (Michael) Edwards SR., of Virginia Beach, VA, Dallas Brown of Knoxville, TN, Sister; Alicia (Frank) Ward of Newport News, VA, Grandchildren; Michael Edwards JR., Matthew Edwards and Kayla Edwards all of Virginia Beach, VA, several Nieces and Nephews.
Mr. Brown was a native of Newport News, VA the son of the late Paul and Eloise Miller Brown.
Mr. Brown was a veteran of the Vietnam War having the distinguished honor of being a Purple Heart recipient and was retired from C.S X. Railroad. He was a member of Centre First Baptist Church and Liberty Baptist Church in Hampton, VA.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Centre First Baptist Church.
