Funeral services for Mr. Grady Edward Mooney, age 84, are scheduled for 2PM on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 in the Chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill with Bro. Hollis Eugene Davis and Bro. William Duke officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Pentecostal Cemetery. Mr. Grady passed away on Monday, July 7, 2014 in Lexington, TN. He was born on April 6, 1930 in Henderson County, TN to the late James Ivey and Virgie Mauney Mooney. He was a self employed carpenter and a member of Cedar Grove Pentecostal Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mae Mooney, and 7 brothers and one sister. Survivors include his daughters, Frances (Keith) Perry, Marie (Terry) Kennedy, two sons, Dale Mooney (Stella) and Bobby Mooney (Denise), and daughter Betty (L.D.) Sims, sisters, Ruth Scott and Dorthy Ross, 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
The family has requested that NO food be brought to the funeral home.
