Linda Jane Jones, 66, of Winfield, formerly of Haleyville, entered into rest on June 27, 2014 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.
She was born on June 23, 1948 in Tuscaloosa. Linda loved playing secretary, going to church and praising the Lord. She also loved hearing Pleasant Hill #1 Community Church members doing the “Jesus Cheer” for her.
Visitation will be on Sunday, June 29, 2014 from 6-9pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where services will be held Monday, June 30, 2014 at 2pm. Brother Homer Jones, Brother Royce Shelton and Brother Rodger Aldridge will officiate. Burial will follow in Winston Memorial Cemetery.
Linda is survived by her sisters; Christine, Eleanor Garrison and her husband Paskell and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents William and Nora Jones; sister, Myrtle Watts; brothers; Verdell, Dallas, Talford, Johnny, Willie, Grady, Norman, Henry, Verbon and Vergil Jones.
