Dee Earnest Curtis, 66, passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born August 24, 1947 to the late Deearmon Curtis and the late Eva McMillen Curtis in Itawamba County. He enjoyed going to dog track, casinos, traveling, going to auctions, old cars, and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Curtis of Mantachie, Son, Ken (Lisa) Curtis of Mantachie, Daughter, Julie (Jenny Pettigo) Curtis of Memphis, TN, Grandson, Blake Curtis of SC, Granddaughter, Lynn Curtis of SC, 2 Sisters, Angellee (William “OO”) White of Dorsey, and Marie Curtis of Eupora, MS, Joyce Scaton of KY, Brother, Felix (Rhonda) Curtis of Choctaw, MS, Step Mother, Jean Scheafer of Eupora, MS, Several Nieces and Nephews.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Deearmon Curtis, Mother, Eva Curtis, Brother, John Hansen.
Pallbearers are Kane Gillentine, Robert Mullins, Matt Puckett, Felix Curtis, Steve Curtis, Daniel Luther.
