Mr. Walters was a native of Hammond, IN. He was a member of Loretto United Christian Church. He loved life and family. His motto, “If you ain’t Laughin’, you ain’t Livin'”! A room was always entered with a “Grand Entrance”! Gary didn’t know a stranger. He made a point to talk or wave to everyone in his path. He loved everyone like family. When not loving people, he liked to canoe, fish, ride ATVs, and enjoy the great outdoors! Survivors include: His Parents- Willie and Linda Walters of Lawrenceburg, TN; 2 Sons- Garrett Walters of IN; Joshua Wilcox of KY; 1 Daughter- Angela Walters of IN; 2 Grandchildren- Jacob & Caidence Strickland; 1 Sister- Loraine Lakich of SC; 1 Niece- Jenny Lakich of SC; Adopted Sister- Zondra Kelly; The Funeral Service will be officiated by Mike Ayers. In Lieu of flowers the family asks you make donations to St. Thomas Foundation Heart Transplant in memory of Gary Walters 4230 Harding Rd. Nashville, TN 37205
