Serena Kinard, 41, of Haleyville, entered into rest Monday, June 9, 2014 at UAB Hospital.
She was born on December 4, 1972 in Russellville. Serena attended Ephesus Baptist Church and graduated from Phillips High School in Bear Creek.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 from 12-2pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where services will be held at 2pm. Brother Jeff Whitten will officiate. Burial will follow in Blue Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
She is survived by her father, Louis Kinard; brother, Chris (Lorraine) Kinard; a special nephew and niece, Bradley and Kayla Kinard and special friends, Sonya Postell and Matthew.
Serena was preceded in death by her son, Austin Blake Kinard; mother, May Jean Kinard; brother, Sammy Kinard; sisters, Dianne Kinard, Charlotte Kinard, Lou Ann Kinard; grandparents, Charlie and Athel Kinard and George and Hattie Whitten.
