Elsie Demetra Hamm, 75, of Florence, passed away May 30, 2014 at Florence Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Visitation will be Monday, June 2, 2014 from 11 – 1 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with burial to follow in Greenview Memorial Park.
Mrs. Hamm was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert Talton and Susie Belle Greenhill Willingham; sister, Frauline Goins.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Clovis Dewrell Hamm; daughters, Patricia Ann Hamm, Doris Elaine Berry (Brian), Phyllis Quay Underwood (David), Lisa Kaye Tverberg (Darryl); sisters, Martha Jean Taylor, Arvidean Fuller, Shirley McDaniel; grandchildren, Bill Beck, III, Brock Beck, Emily Underwood DuBose, Megan Berry Robertson, Luke Underwood, Zach Tverberg, Cade Tverberg; great-grandchildren, Adam, Alex, and Tate Beck, Brie and Brinley Robertson, Brodie Thigpen, Tripp Underwood, Bella and Jane DuBose.
Pallbearers will be Bill Beck, III, Brock Beck, Luke Underwood, Zach Tverberg, Cade Tverberg, and Ben DuBose.
In lieu of flowers, you may if desired, make donations to the Florence Nursing and Rehabilitation Memories Unit.
The family would like to thank those who cared so lovingly for mother including Lisa Montgomery, Gentiva Hospice, and the kind-hearted, wonderful nurses and staff at the Florence Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
