Funeral service for Nell Thomas, 88, will be Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Cotaco Methodist Church with Rev. John Smith officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. The body will lie in state for one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Red Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, May 23, 2014 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Thomas died on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at her residence. She was born July 23, 1925, in Morgan County to Newt Edmonson and Earle Kay Edmonson. She was a member of the Cotaco Methodist Church and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband: Allen “Buddy” Thomas and her parents.
