Jacqueline (Jackie) Lynn Campbell, 64, of Ardmore, Alabama passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2014, at her home.
Born Sunday, August 21, 1949 in Nicholasville, Kentucky she was the daughter of the late Pat McKenney and the late Mabel Carter McKenney.
She lived in the Ardmore area for the last thirty-one years coming from Lexington, KY. She loved children and was loved by all children. She taught Sunday School for 2 and 3 year olds at Piney Grove Baptist Church where she was a member.
Surviving are husband of thirty years, J.D. Campbell, Ardmore, AL; sons, Joe Hurst, Ardmore, AL; John (Phyllis) Hurst , Ardmore, AL; brothers, Dan (Donna) McKenney, Versailles, KY; Ronnie (Lindsey) McKenney, Georgetown, KY; sisters; Patricia Moberly, Leesburg, FL., Deborah (Terry) Morgan, Huber Heights, OH, granddaughter, Addison Hurst, Ardmore, AL; host of nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews; and many other loved ones and friends.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with Dr. Ray Stonecypher and Bro. Lynn Marshall officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery in Ardmore, Alabama.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, May 20, 2014, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
The family wishes to express their deep appreciation for each prayer and all other acts of kindness shown to them during Jackie’s battle with lung cancer. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
