Laura Gertrude Wilbanks Rozell, 97, of Huntsville passed away Saturday in Foley, AL. Gertrude was a lifelong resident of Huntsville and a member of Holmes Street United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband: A.M. “Doc” Rozell; one son: James Ashley Rozell; three brothers: Burwell Wilbanks, Earl Wilbanks and Knox Wilbanks; one sister: Merle Wilbanks and her parents: Herman Wilbanks and Lizzie Fox Wilbanks. Survivors include her two daughters: Betty and husband: Gene Wood of Gulf Shores, AL and Bobbie Flory of Huntsville; one son: William “Buddy” Rozell and wife: Billie of Nashville, TN; one sister: Faye Tate of Huntsville; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Visitation will be Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home followed by a Chapel service at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Eddie Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery in Huntsville, AL following the service
