Janice Renee Wittscheck, age 56, of Iron City, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2014. Visitation will be Friday, May 16, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Underwood Baptist Church, Florence. The funeral will be Saturday, May 17, at 1:00 p.m. at Underwood Baptist Church, with Pastor Josh Lancaster and Brother Donnie McDaniel officiating. Burial will be at Butler Cemetery in Elgin. Janice was employed by the Lauderdale County Health Department as the nurse supervisor. She was a devout Christian and a faithful member of Underwood Baptist, where she was a member of the choir and participated in several mission trips to Honduras. She had a love for flowers and landscaping, and especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a devoted wife and loving mother, and was a friend to all. Janice was preceded in death by her mother, Darlene Carriveau. She is survived by her father, Bob Carriveau, her loving husband of 29 years, Bryan Wittscheck; children, Leslie Wittscheck and Cecily Goss, Alex Wittscheck and wife, Erin, Jeremy Clemmons, and wife, DeNita, and Josh Clemmons and wife, Tonya; sisters, Jacquie Carriveau, Regina Forsythe, Joni Steen and husband, Russell; brother, Jerry Carriveau and wife Roselyn; grandchildren, Alivia, Kade, Chalea, Bailey, and Bryant Clemmons and Cameron Goss.
