David B. Hudson, Sr., 83, Phil Campbell, Alabama, passed away Monday, May 12, 2014, at UAB Hospital.
He was a native of Tennessee, but had lived in Franklin County for the past 34 years. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, served in the Air Force, and was retired from the U.S. Government.
Funeral service will be Friday, May 16, 2014, 1 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville with Wayne Kimbrough officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Survivors include wife, Lavrette B. Hudson, Russellville; son, David B. Hudson, Jr. & wife, Kathy, Phil Campbell; brother, Bobby Hudson, Sr., Athens; grandchildren, Shelby Hudson, Seth Smith, Brad Murphy; several nieces and nephews.
