Peter James Morris, age 65, of Leighton, died Thursday, May 1, 2014. A memorial service will be held Monday, May 12, 2014, 7 p.m. at South Highland Freewill Baptist Church with Brother Shiloh Hackett officiating.
Mr. Morris was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Nancy Morris. He was an avid collector of military memorabilia.
He is survived by his wife Marcy Morris, son, Josh Rickman (Melissa), daughter, Krystle McCollum (James), special daughter, Brianna Rickman, sister, Jinni Keller (Bill), grandchildren; Madison, Josh, Hunter, Austin, Madie, Morgan, Nora Claire and Blake, brother-in-law, Doug Rickman (Tommy), mother-in-law, Connie Rickman, nieces; Halie, Drew and Jen, nephews; Houston, Rob (Tammy) and Chris (Jessica), special friend, Jimmy Crosswhite and a host of great nieces and nephews.
The family expresses special thanks to friends and family, especially Denise and Pat Murray.
