Funeral Services for Ms. Lessie Thankful Tucker are scheduled for 2:00 pm Tuesday, April 29, 2014, in the Chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill, with burial to follow in the Prospect Cemetery. Ms. Tucker passed away Sunday at her home in Sardis. She was 97 years old and a homemaker. She was born December 5, 1916 in Henderson County, Tn. to the late Johnny and Annie Hopper Morris. She was preceded in death by her husband- Mr. Reader Tucker, son-Max Tucker, one sister Ethel Smith, two grandsons Wendell Milam and Barry Milam, and one great grandson- Wesley Milam. Survivors include: one son- Danny Tucker, one Daughter Webbie Milam (Willie), one daughter in law- Barbara Tucker, one sister Inez Johnson, three grandchildren- Tony Tucker (Mary), Steve Milam, and Judy Huckstep (Jr.), and three great grandchildren- Daniel Tucker (Felicia),Corey Milam, and Tyler Weeks. Two great great grandchildren RyLeigh and Zoey Tucker.
