Hoyt Speake – Obituary

Graveside service for Hoyt Speake, 82, of Decatur will be Saturday, April 19, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Aldridge Grove Cemetery with Wayne Turner officiating and Roselawn Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Speake, who died Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, was born June 28, 1931. He served in the U.S. Navy for two years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jackie Speake; and one son, Kelly Speake.

Survivors include one son, Keith Speake of Decatur; one sister, Dorothy Hargrove of Toney; one grandson, Alex Speake of Decatur; and one great-granddaughter, Starla.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
