Mary Kathryn Moore, 94, of Florence, passed away April 13, 2014 at Mitchell-Hollingsworth Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was a member of Central Heights Baptist Church whom she loved very much. She was a loving mother who will be missed greatly.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 15, 2014 from 2:30 – 3:30 p.m. at Central Heights Baptist Church with the funeral service beginning at 3:30 p.m. Officiating will be Rev. Roger Houston. Burial will follow in Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Ellis Moore; parents, Elbert and Mamie Broadfoot Wallace; sister, Willie Mae Austin.
She is survived by her son, Glenn Moore (Linda) of Florence; grandson, Jason Moore; granddaughter, Jennifer Staggs; great-grandchildren, Anna Rose Moore, Luke and Davis Staggs.
Active pallbearers will be John T. Willett, John Sandy, Don Burleson, Harold Baskins, Trigger Oakley, and Doug Baskins.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Moore, Kenneth Austin, Jackie Phillips, and Danny Wylie.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Bartmess, nursing staff of station 4 at Mitchell-Hollingsworth Nursing Home.
