Mrs. Jerelene Thorne Richie, 82 of Florence passed away Sunday, April 13, 2014 at E.C.M. Hospital. She was a native of Franklin County Alabama and a member of Highland Baptist Church for over 50 years.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 15, 2014 from 12-2 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with burial to follow in Greenview Memorial Park. Officiating will be the Rev. Dr. John Brock and the Rev. Chris Underwood.
Mrs. Richie is preceded in death by her parents, Ellis and Verdner King Thorne, three sisters, and three brothers.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, William M. Richie of Florence, daughter, Melissa Richie of Marietta, GA., sister, Rammie Oden of Russellville, grand daughter, Lauren Oden of Marietta, GA., and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Joey Oden, Burrell Thorne, Bruce Edwards, Ed Quigley, B.G. Staggs, Jered Oden, and Shane Seay.
