Hoy Hall – Obituary

Funeral for Hoy Hall, 74, of Speake will be Saturday, April 12, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Roger Aldridge officiating. Burial will be in Lebanon Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.

Mr. Hall, who died Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at his home, was born May 4, 1939, in Limestone County to the late Tom Preston Hall and Sallie Scott Hall. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Germany, and a retired carpenter. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and watching sports, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Preuit Hall; two daughters, Tina Blankenship (Jeff) and Gina McCarley (Scott); two grandchildren, Bailey Blankenship and Nickolas W. McCarley; four brothers, Thomas Hall, Foy Hall, Troy Hall and Roy Hall; and two sisters, Deliah Greenhaw and Johnnie Dietz.

Pallbearers will be Alton Hall, Junior Hall, Levon Hall, Ray Newsome, Doyle McLemore, Tommy Elliott, Ben Hjelm and Nickolas W. McCarley.

Honorary pallbearers will be Troy Hall, Foy Hall, Roy Hall, Thomas Hall, Kenneth McLemore, L.C. Hall and Jerry Preuit.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Relay For Life .
