Funeral for Cecil Michael “Mike” Cooper, 61, of Moulton will be Saturday, April 12, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Hollis Retherford and Brother Tom Fowler officiating. Burial will be in Smyrna Cemetery. Visitation wll be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Cooper, who died Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at his home, was born April 2, 1953, in Indiana to Cecil and Cleora Cooper. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the National Guard. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his grandparents, William and Tennie Peebles and Rufus and Martha Cooper.
Survivors include his wife, Melissa Muston Cooper; four sons, Cecil James “Jimmy” Cooper, Michael Cooper, David Cooper and Kevin Cooper; one daughter, Erin States (Joe); 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Mike Muston, Mark Muston, Marlon Muston, Joey Peebles, Rodney Letson and C.J. Cooper.
