Jan Allison Barnes, 50, of Cherokee, passed away on April 8th, 2014. Visitation will be Saturday, 12-2 p.m. at Cherokee Church of Christ. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Ricky Collum officiating. Burial will be in Barton Cemetery.
Jan was a member of Cherokee Church of Christ.
She was survived by her husband, Frank Evans; son, Cody McVay (Tara); daughter, Allison McVay; brother, Randy Barnes; sister Rita Duncan (Dennis); grandchildren, Ciarra McVay, Kinley Brown and K’leigh Morris. She was also survived by her special pet, Jake.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
You will be truly missed “Ms. Barnes” by family, friends, and the dog, “Jake”.
