Karl D. Harmon, 65, died Sunday, April 6, 2014, at his home. He was born Nov. 27, 1948, to Lawrence and Bertha Mae Franklin Harmon. A lifelong Lee Countian, he attended Shannon School and worked a number of years for J.O. Cook’s. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Shannon
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 9, at Shannon Cemetery. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
Survivors include his mother, Bertha Harmon of Shannon; his aunt, Beatrice Tubb of Amory; and his caregiver, Minnie Dillard of Shannon.He was preceded in death by his father.Pallbearers will be Joey McCord, Cody McCord and Tom Lyles.
