Graveside service for Kendrick W. Jones, 90, of Decatur will be Thursday, April 10, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery with Reverend Todd Evans officiating and Ridout’s Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Jones died Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at his home. He was born April 4, 1924, in Greenville. He served in World War II and retired from law enforcement with over 40 years of service.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Jones; one son, Marvin Jones and his wife, Glory; one daughter, Patricia Mount and her husband, Terry; two sisters, Orie Mae Faulk and Shirley McAlister; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
