Ronnie Pounders, 67, of Russellville, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at his residence.
Ronnie was a native of Franklin County and was self-employed. He enjoyed Alabama football, cooking and playing pool. He was happy, helpful, and never met a stranger. He will be missed by his many friends and family.
Left to cherish his memory are his children Carrie Lynn Wilson and husband, Bryan, Tracy B. McLemore, and Tanner Steele; grandchildren, Nathan and Corey McLemore and Austin and Brooklyn Wilson; brother, Dexter Pounders and wife Laura; niece Nena Brown and husband Bomber.
The funeral service will be Thursday, April 10, 2014, at 2:00 p.m., at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, with burial in Belgreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Tanner Steele, Nathan McLemore, Corey McLemore, Austin Wilson, Bryan Wilson, and Samuel Steele.
He was preceded in death by his parents Gardie and Vivian Pounders.
