Funeral services for Mr. Bobby Joe Hammonds, age 64, are scheduled for 3 pm, Thursday, April 10, 2014 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington with Bro. Randall Hammonds and Bro. Jim Denison officiating. Interment will follow in Henderson County Memory Gardens. Mr. Hammonds passed away Monday at his home in Wildersville. He was born January 25, 1950 in Friendship to the late Willard A. and Agatha Inman Hammond. He was a U. S. Army Veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Beech Lake Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Brenda Hart Hammonds; two sons, Randall (Salena) Hammonds of Mount Airy, GA and Joseph (Jessica) Hammonds of Brainerd, MN; two daughters, Inge Leonard of North Carolina and Jenny (Jeff) Dennison of Memphis; a brother, Willard M. Hammond, Sr.; seven grandchildren and one great grandson.
