Lewis Samuel Garland, age 72, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Tuesday, April 01, 2014 at NHC Healthcare of Lawrenceburg. He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired after 44 years from Murray Ohio, Door Greeter for Wal-Mart for 7 years, and a member of Meadow View Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester Joseph and Nannie Pearl Lewis Garland; and one sister, Mattie Pearl Smith.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, April 04, 2014 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 05, 2014, with Charles Gresham and Danny Huckaba officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN.
