Diann Melson Burruss, 61, died March 27, 2014, at her home. She was born July 13, 1952, in Limestone County to Dennis Melson and Mamie Bracken. She was preceded in death by her father.
Survivors include her son, Dustin Burruss and daughter-in-law, Julie Burruss; her mother, Mamie Bracken of Huntsville; one brother, Billy Melson of Decatur; her best man friend, Petey Thrasher; four sisters, Joyce of Ardmore, Shirley of Huntsville, Carolyn of Hartselle, Linda of Huntsville; her best friend in the world, Betty; and two grandchildren, Kendall and Evan Burruss of Raleigh, N.C
