Flora Lorene Malone Weeks, age 90, of Tuscumbia, died Sunday, March 30, 2014.
Visitation will be today, 1:30-3:30 p.m., at Morrison Funeral Home of Tuscumbia. Her funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with David Lee officiating. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Weeks was a member of First United Methodist Church, Tuscumbia.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Roy Malone and Walter Weeks; her son, William Earl Malone; grandson, Burt Malone; great-grandson, Bradley Stewart; brothers, Roy Goins and Jimmy Neal Goins; and sisters, Mildred Malone and Dorothy Irene Ogletree Hightower.
She is survived by her stepdaughter, Frieda Seal and husband, Billy; brother, James R. Goins and wife, Betty; granddaughter, Barbara Malone Stewart; great-grandsons, Matt Stewart, Ben Stewart, and Blake Malone; three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be family members.
The family expresses special thanks to the nurses and staff at Keller Landing and to the fourth floor nurses and Dr. Syed.
