Tommy Dale McConnell, Sr. 64 of Ardmore, Alabama died on Sunday, March 30, 2014, at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Alabama.
Born Tuesday, December 27, 1949 in Ardmore, Alabama, he was the son of the late Woodrow Cole McConnell and the late Hazel Matilda Jones McConnell. He was a lifelong resident of this area and a member of Ardmore Church of God. He loved singing gospel music.
Surviving are sons, Tommy Dale McConnell, Jr. of Prospect, TN and Dexter Shane & Brandy McConnell of Ardmore, AL, sister, Debbie Lovett of Leoma, TN, grandchildren: Charity, Chasity, Dallas, Austin, and Briana and one great-grandchild: Mahala.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, April 2, 2014, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with Bro. Spencer Hardiman and Bro. Doug Colwell officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
