Christine Newton of Rogersville died Monday, March 31, 2014 at Mitchell Hollingsworth Nursing Home at the age of 76.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 12 – 2 at Rogersville Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow immediately in the chapel with Bill Barlow officiating. Burial will be in Center Hill Church of Christ Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Zach Thornton, Kris Thornton, Danny Wallace, Cleland Davis, Cory Davis and Greg Taylor.
Ms. Newton was preceded in death by her parents, Wilson & Myrtle Michael; brother, Floyd Michael; sister, Dean Davis. She is survived by her children, Brenda (Eric) Cook; Eddie Thornton and Ronnie (Lori) Matthews; brothers, Loyce (Lucy), Doyce (Rink), Leroy and Coy (Verne) Michael; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
