FLORENCE – Ten bands from Northwest Alabama are performing in a Battle of the Bands show on March 28th starting at seven p.m. at the end Theatre.
There are bands coming in from all over the Northwest to battle. Some come from Hartselle and Huntsville while others are homegrown.
The competition will be featuring bands like Dirty Swagger, Cheap Thrill Deville, Flux, The Voodoo Sound System, Sunday at Six, Big Gaping Holes, Strugglin’ Jimmies, Them Down Dogs, Bikini Atol and Jonny and The Black Frames.
You will get to enjoy a variety of alternative music that ranges from rock, to blues, to punk. It may even get a little punk-metal during The Dirty Swagger’s set.
This will be a great venue for bored teenagers, alternative music lovers, and an audience that just enjoys loud music.
The winner of the battle of the will receive some recording time with Stevy Reno at Reno West. So be sure to go down and support your favorite band.
Ticket price is seven dollars to get in. No drinking allowed! All ages are welcome.
