Funeral service for Alice E. Posey age 78 of Decatur will be Monday, March 17, 2014 at 2:00pm at New Center Baptist Church with Rev. Ben Bates officiating with burial in the adjoining cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 6:00pm until 9:00pm Sunday evening at the funeral home.
Ms. Posey, who died on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at her home, was born September 19, 1935 in Hartselle to Otto Blankenship and Mary Brooks Blankenship. She was preceded in death by her husband; Howard Posey.
She is survived by 4 sons; Danny Bates(Bev) of Hartselle, Randy Posey(Joquitta) of Cullman, Daniel Posey(Doris) of Huntsville and Bobby Posey(Mary) of Cullman, 3 daughters; Anita Hensley of Cullman, Melissa Knighten(Paul) of Decatur and Susan Metcalf(John) of Cullman.
16 Grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Grandsons and friends will serve as pallbearers.
