Effie Timbes, 91, of Tishomingo, Mississippi, died Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at the Tishomingo Manor Nursing Home. She was a very active member of Tishomingo Baptist Church. She enjoyed her flowers, working in her yard, and gardening. Visitation is scheduled for 11 AM until 1 PM on Friday, March 14 at Tishomingo Baptist Church. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 PM on Friday, March 14, 2014, at Tishomingo Baptist Church, officiated by Bro. Robbie Crane. Interment will follow in Tishomingo Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include 2 sons – Kenneth Frederick (Nancy) of Fulton and Roger Frederick (Liddie) of Southaven; 4 grandchildren – Keith Frederick (Heather), Timothy Frederick (Cynthia), Thomas Frederick (Michelle), and Jeffrey Frederick (Misty); 18 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death her husband, Doug Timbes; her parents, L.R. and Effie Lou Moody; and her grandchild, Karen Frederick.
